Information we collect
Authenticated ticket checkout collects the supporter account identifier, buyer’s name, verified email or mobile identity, any additional contact detail needed for payment or receipt delivery, selected event and ticket, quantity, order reference and payment status. Newsletter signup stores the submitted email address. Supporter and organizer sign-in record protected session and security metadata. When a signed-in supporter uses Fan Picks, we store the event, matchup, selected fighter and timestamps.
How information is used
We use this information to manage orders, verify payments, issue and validate tickets, provide event support, prevent fraud, operate events, calculate anonymous fan-consensus totals, issue live-audience draw entries, notify winners and send updates the subscriber requested.
Payment processing
Payments are completed on Chapa’s hosted checkout. Ethio Fight Night does not collect card or mobile-money credentials. Our server sends the order details required to start payment and independently verifies the result before issuing admission.
Passwordless access
Supporters must sign in before purchasing a live-stream pass. Email-authenticated checkout uses the verified email, while phone-authenticated checkout uses the verified Ethiopian mobile number. AfroMessage delivers and verifies phone codes; Resend delivers email codes. Codes expire after 10 minutes, are attempt-limited and can be used only once.
Live-audience awards
Each verified paid live-stream order receives one event-specific draw entry. The entry remains connected to the order and supporter identity. Three winners are selected from eligible paid entries after the event, and the winners may receive transactional notification by SMS and email.
Security and retention
Administrative access is permission-scoped and audited. Passwords, one-time codes and session tokens are stored as cryptographic hashes. Supporter identities are separated from staff accounts. Operational records are retained only as needed for ticketing, accounting, security and legal obligations.
Your choices
You may request correction of your contact information or unsubscribe from event marketing by contacting hello@ethiofightnight.com. Transactional messages required to deliver a purchased ticket may still be sent.
